African Trade Desk is an initiative to be used as a vehicle to drive business between companies wanting to do business with their African counterparts.

Certificates of Origin

We provide Certificates of Origin to proves that the goods in a specific export shipment are all produced, manufactured or processed in South Africa.

Membership is open to businesses within the Ekurhuleni Aerotropolis who want to gain benefit of being a member of a Chamber of Commerce.

To this end, EACCI have adopted the South African Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SACCI) Code of Conduct as the code of good practice by members and business owners.

We believe the following objectives best position us to achieve our strategic goals. In addition, we will continue to focus on all of the other initiatives and programmes that have made the Chamber the successful and impactful organisation it strives to be. The Chamber will update these key objectives annually.

  1. Create and execute a comprehensive on-boarding plan that engages first-year members and improves retention.
  2. Working with local businesses, government and community leaders to foster a thriving, prosperous and welcoming community.
  3. Create and execute a bold marketing campaign designed to drive inbound leads to the Chamber.
  4. Strengthen Chamber’s reputation for data-backed public policy and research by expanding our media and stakeholder reach.
  5. Enhance and increase participation of member organisations.
  6. Develop a plan, tools and tactics to help all staff members increase employee engagement.
  7. Create an internship programme for students interested in participating in business.
  8. Provide a unique competitive advantage for our members.
  9. Monitor and ensure high level financial management processes are used.
  10. Work to identify and implement new income sources and revenue streams.
  11. Develop a robust Chamber ambassador programme that will actively engage in and attend community events.
  12. Develop income generating events; e.g. Biz-Link Connect Events, Business @ Breakfast, Chamber Golf Days, Member Certificate Award Day.
  13. Develop the African Trade Desk concept.
